The HP black cartridges take about 1 oz.(29cc or ml) per filling while the large Canon Cartridges
about one-fourth that much. We include syringes and instructions for the small Canon
and Epson and Lexmark cartridges. Although most cartridges are best refilled
by machine at our manufacturing facility, the instructions provided with our
starter kits will get most enterprising do-it-yourself-ers back printing again.

The Snap and Fill device is now available for filling the HP 26A, 29A and Apollo cartridges. This bottom fill device was created to manually assist in refilling the HP 51626A and 51629A inkjet cartridges. This product was engineered to address the new cartridges arriving on the market which do not have a top fill hole. |
After testing and sending out samples, the feedback was very positive. Most
customers commented that this method was easier than the standard through the top
fill hole method. The filling device will work on both the old and new style 51626A/29A
cartridges, with and without the bead in the top.
The "Snap and Fill" also had an unexpected benefit that was becoming an obvious
advantage for anyone using the device. It seems that as the ink enters the cartridge,
escaping air helps unplug the nozzles. As far as it is known, no other filling kit makes
this claim. Our customers experience fewer clogged nozzles and are also very pleased
with the easy procedure.
It takes about 30 seconds to fill, and a little pull back on the syringe delivers the
needed vacuum. The only other option for the new cartridges is to drill a hole where
the old fill hole once was. Not a very good alternative.We are offering the Snap & Fill unit for $5.95 plus shipping and $1.50 handling.
